Ashra Kwesi Explains the Origin of Adam & Eve Story at the Ramesseum in Kemet (Egypt)

Knowledge is power.

Till this day i do not understand why a sista can follow a religion that teaches her she is the reason for suffering, she was made to keep Adam company, and that her cycle is a reminder of what she did. That alone should show you that it was made up by misogynistic men.

Knowledge is power do not make eurocentric/imperialist customs your own it is never to take your mind back.

Dorothy Dandridge (1922–1965) was the first African American to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress, becoming only the third African American to receive a nomination in any Academy Award category (after Hattie McDaniel and Ethel Waters) at the time.

Case in point:
Though using race or color as a qualification for a job is illegal in the U.S., it is still widely, and openly, practiced when choosing actors for movies and TV.
Dolores R. sent in an example of a casting call for an Acura commercial that shows how race and skin color requirements are explicitly stated. The role is for an African American car dealer; however, the description calls for someone who is “not too dark”.
Seriously.
The casting document was posted by Oh No They Didn’t! after an African-American actor who didn’t fit the profile passed it on to them. Someone at the casting agency claimed that the reason they didn’t want an actor who was “too dark” was that it would make lighting and special effects more difficult.
Seriously.
Acura has apologized, though as Forbes points out, they probably had little to do with the actual casting process; the casting call was mostly likely written within the casting agency.

My local news did a poll and 72% of people in southern California did not have a problem with this.  I just want to move to a deserted island with internet access.

The African Renaissance Monument (French: Le Monument de la Renaissance africaine) is a 49m tall bronze statue located on top one of the twin hills known as Collines des Mamelles, outside of Dakar, Senegal. Built overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the Ouakam suburb, the statue was designed by the Senegalese architect Pierre Goudiaby after an idea presented by president Abdoulaye Wade and built by a company from North Korea.[1] Site preparation on top of the 100-meter high hill began in 2006, and construction of the bronze statue began 3 April 2008.[2] Originally scheduled for completion in December 2009, delays stretched into early 2010, and the formal dedication occurred on 4 April 2010, Senegal’s “National Day”, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the country’s independence from France.[3] It is the tallest statue in Africa.- (information source)

I had to again reblog for the info.
This is taller than the statue of liberty and 10 times better than the statue of liberty yet today is my first time hearing of it.

This Second Degree ruling is the pacifier.

sapphrikah:

This is what white people have been doing to us since the beginning.

Oppress. Oppress. Oppress. They push until we start to wake up. And when the sense uprising stirring, they pacify us. They give us their two-bit reparations, or a second degree murder ruling for a man who without a doubt committed first degree on an innocent boy for his suspicious blackness.

And you’ll take the bait. And calm down. And move on.
